This Privacy Policy describes how Radioframe SSTV ("the Application," "we," "us," or "our") handles
information in connection with your use of the Application. Please read this policy carefully.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND HOW WE USE IT
The Application does not collect, transmit, upload, or share any personal data, audio data,
image data, or files with any third party, including us.
All processing performed by the Application occurs exclusively on your device. No data leaves
your device as a result of using the Application's core functionality.
Specifically:
a. Microphone Access
The Application requests access to your device's microphone solely to receive and
process Slow-Scan Television (SSTV) radio signals in real time. Audio captured through
the microphone is processed entirely on your device and is not recorded, stored
persistently, uploaded, transmitted, or shared in any form. The Application does not
retain any audio data after processing is complete.
b. Images and Decoded Output
Images decoded from SSTV signals are stored locally on your device only, at your
direction (e.g., when you choose to save a decoded image). We do not access, copy,
transmit, or retain any images or decoded output from your device.
c. Audio Files
Audio files you import into the Application for decoding are read locally on your
device. The Application does not upload, copy, transmit, or retain imported audio files.
d. Encoded Audio Output
Audio files generated by the Application's SSTV encoding feature are written locally
to your device only. We do not access, transmit, or retain these files.
2. IN-APP PURCHASES
The Application offers optional in-app purchases through Google Play Billing. When you make
a purchase:
- The transaction is processed entirely by Google Play. We do not receive, store, or
process your payment information (credit card numbers, bank account details, etc.).
- Google Play communicates to the Application only whether a purchase has been
acknowledged, for the purpose of unlocking purchased features on your device.
- Your purchase history and financial data are governed by Google's Privacy Policy,
available at: https://policies.google.com/privacy
3. PERMISSIONS
The Application requests the following Android permissions and uses them solely as described:
- RECORD_AUDIO: To capture audio from the microphone for on-device SSTV signal decoding.
- READ_MEDIA_AUDIO / READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: To allow you to select and import audio files
for decoding. Files are read locally only.
- WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: To allow saving decoded images and generated audio files to your
device (applicable on Android 9 and below).
- FOREGROUND_SERVICE / FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MICROPHONE: To maintain audio capture while the
Application is visible or operating in the foreground.
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS: To display a notification while foreground audio capture is active,
as required by Android operating system policy.
4. DATA SHARING
We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise transfer any data to outside parties. There is no
data to share: the Application does not collect or retain personal information, audio, images,
or files.
5. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The Application is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect
any personal information from children.
6. SECURITY
Because the Application does not transmit or store personal data on any server, there is no
central data store to secure or breach. All data you create or save through the Application
resides on your device and is subject to your device's security and access controls.
7. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by an updated
"Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of the Application after any
changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this
policy periodically.
